The process was difficult, though most internships or graduate roles are. I feel that Mirvac treated us all well. I completed an online application with my CV and cover letter, a few weeks later I was called for a phone interview. Shortly afterwards I was invited to an assessment centre with three other candidates and the day afterwards I was awarded the role.
I was asked "why property", "what most interests you", "what experience can you bring to the role?".
Culture is important! Also, try to know exactly what you hope to get out of Mirvac. Not just 'marketing experience', but 'experience delivering marketing for inner-city apartment projects, because of a), b) and c)'. The feedback I received is that this is important.
